Archer Wigan is recruiting for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team of five vets. With a flexible, no-fixed-rota setup and a manageable 1 in 5 Saturday commitment, this is an excellent opportunity for a vet seeking a supportive environment with a strong work-life balance.

Key Details

• Up to £70,000 FTE depending on experience.
• 1 in 5 Saturdays, with no out-of-hours work.
• Flexible working hours.
• Join a team of five vets.
• Experienced vet preferred.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-opinion consultations, communicating clearly and compassionately with owners.
• Perform routine surgery, dentistry and medical work-ups appropriate to your experience.
• Work closely with RVNs and support staff to maintain safe and efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Registered with, or eligible to register with, the RCVS (MRCVS).
• Confident delivering first-opinion small animal care appropriate to the role.
• A calm, professional and client-focused approach.
