Archer Barnsley is recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an RCVS Outstanding Small Animal Hospital with its own OOH team, CT scanner, endoscopy facilities and stem cell therapy capabilities. This is a superb clinical environment offering excellent opportunities for professional development.

• 1 in 2 weekends for full-time roles, or 1 in 4 weekends for part-time roles.
• CT scanner, endoscopes and stem cell therapy available.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-opinion consultations, communicating clearly and compassionately with owners.
• Perform routine surgery, dentistry and medical work-ups appropriate to your experience.
• Work closely with RVNs and support staff to maintain safe and efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Registered with, or eligible to register with, the RCVS (MRCVS).
• Confident delivering first-opinion small animal care appropriate to the role.
• A calm, professional and client-focused approach.
