Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

Archer is recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) across three Ayrshire practices located in Ayr, Irvine and Kilmarnock. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced RVNs and newly qualified nurses looking to develop their careers within a supportive clinical environment.

Key Details

• Up to £36,000 FTE.
• Newly qualified RVNs welcome.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays, with no out-of-hours work.
• Opportunity to work across three practices in Ayrshire.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care across inpatient wards, theatre and nurse-led clinics.
• Support surgical preparation, anaesthesia monitoring and patient recovery.
• Conduct nurse consultations while educating clients on treatment plans and aftercare.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and consistently deliver exceptional standards of patient care.

Requirements

• Registered with, or eligible to register with, the RCVS as a Veterinary Nurse.
• Confident working across inpatient care, theatre and nurse-led clinics.
• A caring, professional and collaborative approach to patient care.
