Archer Romford is recruiting for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their OOH-only team. This is a sole charge opportunity within a 24-hour hospital environment, ideal for a confident vet with UK experience looking to develop their emergency skills and maximise their OOH earnings.

Key Details

• Up to £80,000 FTE.
• OOH-only role with a 7 nights on / 14 nights off rota.
• Sole charge responsibility.
• UK veterinary experience required.
• Not suitable for newly qualified vets.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-opinion consultations, communicating clearly and compassionately with owners.
• Perform routine surgery, dentistry and medical work-ups appropriate to your experience.
• Work closely with RVNs and support staff to maintain safe and efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Registered with, or eligible to register with, the RCVS (MRCVS).
• Confident delivering first-opinion small animal care appropriate to the role.
• A calm, professional and client-focused approach.
