Veterinary Surgeon

Archer Sutton-in-Ashfield is recruiting for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, RCVS-accredited teaching practice. With exotic, rabbit and cat-friendly accreditation, this is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to work within a supportive and varied clinical environment.

Key Details

• Up to £60,000 depending on experience.
• 4 days per week.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00am–5:00pm), with no out-of-hours work.
• Teaching practice with SVNs and veterinary students on site.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-opinion consultations, communicating clearly and compassionately with owners.
• Perform routine surgery, dentistry and medical work-ups appropriate to your experience.
• Work closely with RVNs and support staff to maintain safe and efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Registered with, or eligible to register with, the RCVS (MRCVS).
• Confident delivering first-opinion small animal care appropriate to the role.
• A calm, professional and client-focused approach.
