Overview

We are recruiting locum Veterinary Surgeons for a group of small animal practices across south London, with sites in Sydenham, Penge, Peckham, West Wickham and Croydon. All five are within a few miles of one another, so wherever you are in that part of London at least one should be an easy journey.

Work is available across October 2026. All shifts are consults only, with no surgery on any of the days. Days run either 8.30am to 6.30pm or 9am to 7pm depending on the site.

You can take a single day, a few, or the full run. This client releases new dates regularly, so there is scope for ongoing work.

Responsibilities

• First opinion small animal consulting
• Working to the practice's own systems and protocols
• Clear communication with clients and the wider practice team

Requirements

• RCVS registered with the right to work in the UK
• Small animal first opinion experience
• Confident consulting independently
