Job description
Veterinary Surgeon
Archer Gillingham offers an exciting and diverse OOH emergency caseload within a fully supportive team. You'll benefit from continuous mentorship and access to structured professional development from day one.
This full-time role averages 40 hours per week (approximately 3 shifts per week) with a 1:2 weekend commitment. Part-time arrangements can also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver first-opinion consultations, communicating clearly and compassionately with owners.
- Perform routine surgery, dentistry and medical work-ups appropriate to your experience.
- Work closely with RVNs and support staff to maintain safe and efficient patient flow.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Registered with, or eligible to register with, the RCVS (MRCVS).
- Confident delivering first-opinion small animal care appropriate to the role.
- A calm, professional and client-focused approach.
