Veterinary Surgeon - Weymouth
Package
- Salary up to £80,000 FTE, depending on experience
- 1 in 4 Saturdays, no OOH
- Protected lunch breaks and a real focus on work-life balance
- CPD support, including laparoscopy
Overview
Locally owned, vet-led small animal practice 5 minutes from the beach. Team of 5 vets including an Advanced Practitioner in Medicine, with a long-standing nursing and reception team. RCVS accredited nurse training practice. Recently extended with a dental suite, upgraded imaging (Doppler ultrasound and ECG), K-Laser, with laparoscopic equipment coming next.
Responsibilities
- Consulting, medicine and surgery across a varied small animal caseload
- Sole charge as part of the rota
- Supporting and mentoring newer colleagues
- Helping develop laparoscopic and minimally invasive work
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years UK GP experience
- Competent in medicine and surgery, including sole charge
- Interest in laparoscopy desirable but not essential
- RCVS registered
