Veterinary Surgeon

Archer Basildon is recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a 24-hour hospital offering a supportive clinical environment, a 4-day working week and an exciting exotic species bias. This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet looking to develop their skills within a progressive practice.

Tier 2 visa sponsorship is confirmed for this role.

Key Details

• Up to £60,000 FTE.
• 4-day working week.

• Some UK veterinary experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver first-opinion consultations, communicating clearly and compassionately with owners.
• Perform routine surgery, dentistry and medical work-ups appropriate to your experience.
• Work closely with RVNs and support staff to maintain safe and efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Registered with, or eligible to register with, the RCVS (MRCVS).
• Confident delivering first-opinion small animal care appropriate to the role.
• A calm, professional and client-focused approach.
