£55,000.00 - £80,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience. Fully remote working, structured clinical supervision and a funded CPD allowance.

Overview

A fully remote Clinical Psychologist post delivering autism and/or ADHD diagnostic assessments for children & young people. You will work within an established remote multi-disciplinary team alongside Psychiatry, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Specialist Nursing, contributing clinical expertise to assessment, formulation and diagnostic decision-making, including differential diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive remote diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in line with NICE guidelines and evidence-based assessment pathways
• Administer and interpret recognised measures and structured interviews, including ADOS-2, ADI-R, 3Di and ACE+
• Produce high-quality diagnostic reports and clinical formulations
• Deliver diagnostic feedback with empathy, sensitivity and clarity, and discuss next steps
• Provide post-diagnostic support, brief interventions, psychoeducation and onward referrals where appropriate
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary decision-making across the wider clinical team
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HCPC standards
• Arrange clinical supervision and undertake CPD in line with HCPC requirements

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling)
• Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent recognised by the HCPC
• Post-qualification experience working with autism and neurodivergence
• Experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD
• Familiarity with key diagnostic tools such as DIVA-5, ADOS-2, ADI-R, 3Di and ACE
• Strong clinical formulation and report-writing skills
• Working knowledge of NICE compliance
• Confident working independently while collaborating within a remote MDT
