Social Worker (Adult MASH & Provider Safeguarding) - Colindale
Package
- £33.20 per hour (Umbrella)
- Rolling 3-month contract, extension expected
- Immediate start
Overview
A North London local authority Adults & Health service is looking for an experienced adult safeguarding Social Worker. The post is split between the Adult Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and the Provider Safeguarding Team, which covers residential and nursing care settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead Section 42 safeguarding enquiries under the Care Act 2014
- Triage and progress safeguarding concerns within the Adult MASH, sharing information with police, health and partner agencies
- Respond to provider concerns and organisational safeguarding in residential and nursing homes
- Complete risk assessments, protection plans and clear, timely case recording
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
- Proven experience completing Section 42 enquiries
- Experience working within a dedicated adult safeguarding team
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred) and the right to work in the UK
