There is now an opening for an experienced counselling professional to join a growing stable organisation providing employee support and occupational health services.
You will provide emotional support via a 24/7 helpline, complete clinical and risk assessments, and handle calls and emails, working in a fast paced more corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality telephone counselling and support.
- Assess client needs and direct to appropriate support.
- Manage distressed clients, safeguarding issues, and risk concerns.
- Record all interactions accurately on internal systems.
- Complete training and use skills in trauma, suicide, and safeguarding.
- Meet individual and team goals, managing calls and enquiries efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma Level 4 in Counselling with 130+ counselling hours.
- Minimum 10 months post-qualification experience.
- Registered with a recognised professional counselling body.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced helpline environment. (essential, any customer service/call center/helpline experience highly valued)
- Strong computer (essential) and CRM (preference) skills.
- Experience handling safeguarding and suicidal ideation. (preference)
