Head of Therapies

Working as the Head of Therapies, you will be accountable for the delivery and governance of a therapy service by assessing, implementing and evaluating programmes of personalised rehabilitation and care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading ,motivating and managing the therapy team.
• Implementing evidence based practice, ensuring effective service provision and positive outcomes.
• Ensuring appropriate provision and maintenance of equipment.
• Sharing knowledge and expertise with other team members through formal and informal teaching within the therapy team.
• Continuously developing team knowledge and expanding clinical/rehabilitation skills and effectiveness.
• Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service.

Requirements:

• BSc degree level qualification in either Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
• Management degree or equivalent experience.
• Registration with Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
• Post registration training in a relevant speciality.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
• Enhanced DBS, dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
