Associate Autism Practitioners – Join Our Neurodiversity Team
We're expanding our Neurodiversity team and are looking for Associate Autism Practitioners to play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred autism assessments.
This is a flexible opportunity offering you additional income, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact—while maintaining the freedom to thrive professionally.
As an Associate Autism Practitioner, you’ll use your expertise to guide individuals through their autism assessment journey. You’ll work with a wide range of clients, delivering ASD diagnostic assessments both remotely and face-to-face.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Delivering autism assessments and post-diagnostic support across both private and NHS-commissioned services.
Participating in multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings to contribute to collaborative clinical decision-making.
Proactively managing clinical risks by identifying, reporting, and addressing any issues that arise during assessments.
Ensuring all documentation meets required clinical, regulatory, and organisational standards.
Providing clear, supportive post-assessment feedback to individuals and families.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 12 months' experience delivering autism diagnostic assessments.
ADOS-2 trained with 12+ months of practical experience.
ADI-R trained, with experience conducting autism-specific developmental histories.
Confident delivering assessments and handling related admin via both online platforms and in-person settings.
Committed to ethical, person-centred practice and the safeguarding of both adults and children.
A professional and confidential home working environment.
Clinical registration with HCPC or NMC.
Strong understanding of DSM-5 and NICE guidelines related to autism diagnosis.
Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Teams and bespoke digital systems, with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
