As a valued member of our ND team, you’ll use your clinical expertise to support individuals through their autism assessment journey. You’ll work with a diverse client group, delivering ASD diagnostic assessments both remotely and in-person.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Conducting autism assessments and providing post-diagnostic support across private and NHS-commissioned services
Participating in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings
Managing clinical risk by identifying, reporting, and addressing any concerns that arise during the assessment process
Ensuring clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory and organisational standards
Delivering clear, supportive post-assessment feedback to clients and families
What We’re Looking For:
A minimum of 12 months’ experience conducting autism diagnostic assessments
ADOS-2 trained with at least 12 months of assessment delivery experience
ADI-R trained, with a background in conducting developmental histories specific to autism
Comfortable conducting sessions and completing administrative tasks both online and face-to-face
A strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining the highest safeguarding standards for adults and children
A professional home working setup to support remote service delivery
Registration with HCPC or NMC
Solid understanding of DSM-5 and NICE guidelines as they relate to ASD
Confidence using digital tools such as MS Teams and internal platforms, with a willingness to upskill as needed
