Salary / Rate: £50,000 - £74,000 per annum
Rota: 4-day week with shared Saturday mornings and no routine OOH

We are looking to speak with veterinary professionals interested in a veterinary surgeon - south coast clinic opportunity in Portsmouth. The role is based in a south coast small animal practice with modern diagnostics and experienced support. The rota is 4-day week with shared Saturday mornings and no routine OOH.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first-opinion consultations with clear communication for pet owners
• Carry out routine surgery, dentistry or medical work in line with your confidence
• Work closely with RVNs, SVNs and support staff to maintain safe patient flow
• Keep accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements

• MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
• Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
• A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
• Interest in building longer-term relationships with clients and the wider practice team
