Location: Fort William, Highland
Contract: Permanent
Salary / Rate: £47,000 - £72,000 per annum
Rota: 4-day week with shared weekend cover and no routine nights where possible

Role overview

Archer Resourcing is representing a confidential veterinary client in Fort William for a veterinary surgeon - rural scotland. The role is based in a rural Highland practice with companion animal work and occasional large animal exposure. The rota is 4-day week with shared weekend cover and no routine nights where possible.

Practice profile

Key responsibilities

  • Handle small animal consults and routine GP work
  • Support occasional mixed or rural cases where appropriate
  • Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues
  • Maintain consistent clinical standards across varied work

Requirements

  • MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
  • Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
  • A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
  • Interest in building longer-term relationships with clients and the wider practice team
