Salary / Rate: £55,000 - £80,000 per annum
Rota: 4-day week, 1:4 Saturdays and no OOH

Role overview

We are looking to speak with veterinary professionals interested in a veterinary surgeon - commuter belt clinic opportunity in Reading. The role is based in a well-organised small animal clinic serving a busy commuter client base. The rota is 4-day week, 1:4 Saturdays and no OOH.

Practice profile

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first-opinion consultations with clear communication for pet owners
• Carry out routine surgery, dentistry or medical work in line with your confidence
• Work closely with RVNs, SVNs and support staff to maintain safe patient flow
• Keep accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements

• MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
• Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
• A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
• Interest in building longer-term relationships with clients and the wider practice team
