A client practice in Oxford is seeking a veterinary surgeon - medicine interest to support a well-established local caseload. The role is based in a high-standard small animal practice with strong internal medicine caseload. The rota is full-time 4-day rota with continuity of case work and no OOH.

Practice profile

Key responsibilities

• Manage medicine cases from first consult through investigation and review
• Build practical treatment plans and communicate options clearly to owners
• Collaborate with nurses on inpatient care and diagnostics
• Contribute to clinical learning within the practice

Requirements

• MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
• Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
• A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
• Interest in building longer-term relationships with clients and the wider practice team
