Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Contract: Permanent
Salary / Rate: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum
Rota: 4-day week with dedicated diagnostics sessions and shared Saturdays

Role overview

We are looking to speak with veterinary professionals interested in a veterinary surgeon - imaging interest opportunity in Cambridge. The role is based in a well-funded private clinic with ultrasound, dental x-ray and visiting specialists. The rota is 4-day week with dedicated diagnostics sessions and shared Saturdays.

Practice profile

Key responsibilities

  • Lead first-opinion consults and work-ups with a diagnostic mindset
  • Use imaging equipment appropriately and liaise with colleagues on findings
  • Manage routine surgery or consult work depending on preference
  • Support clinical standards and case continuity

Requirements

  • MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
  • Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
  • A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
  • Interest in building longer-term relationships with clients and the wider practice team
