Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Contract: Permanent
Salary / Rate: £56,000 - £78,000 per annum
Rota: 4-day rota with inpatient handover and no routine OOH

Role overview

Archer Resourcing is representing a confidential veterinary client in Southampton for a veterinary surgeon - hospital caseload. The role is based in a large private practice with hospital-level facilities and branch referrals. The rota is 4-day rota with inpatient handover and no routine OOH.

Practice profile

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver first-opinion consultations with clear communication for pet owners
  • Carry out routine surgery, dentistry or medical work in line with your confidence
  • Work closely with RVNs, SVNs and support staff to maintain safe patient flow
  • Keep accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements

  • MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
  • Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
  • A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
  • Interest in building longer-term relationships with clients and the wider practice team
