Job description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining accurate records and generating written reports.
- Conducting speech, language and communication assessments.
- Establishing therapy goals and tracking progress.
- Taking part in regular meetings, supervisions and appraisals.
- Creating a showcase speech and language therapy programme.
- Taking responsibility for a specific service area, working independently without direct supervision.
- Taking responsibility for own professional development.
Requirements:
- Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
- Experience OR an interest in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Learning Disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to providing effective services and a commitment to continued improvement.
- Have an interest in person-centred support and planning.
