Archer Resourcing is representing a confidential veterinary client in Glasgow for a locum veterinary surgeon. The role is based in a friendly small animal clinic with a mixed consult and routine surgery caseload. The rota is ongoing weekday locum block with a flexible 3 or 4-day pattern.

Practice profile

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first-opinion consultations with clear communication for pet owners
• Carry out routine surgery, dentistry or medical work in line with your confidence
• Work closely with RVNs, SVNs and support staff to maintain safe patient flow
• Keep accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements

• MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
• Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
• A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
• Availability for agreed locum dates and confidence working in a new practice environment
