Role overview

A client practice in Lincoln is seeking a farm veterinary surgeon to support a well-established local caseload. The role is based in a established farm animal team supporting dairy, beef and sheep clients. The rota is farm rota with planned fertility work, herd health visits and shared on-call.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned farm visits, herd health work and practical advice
• Support fertility, lameness, youngstock and preventative health programmes
• Maintain clear client records and compliance with farm assurance needs
• Work collaboratively within an experienced farm veterinary team

Requirements

• MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
• Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
• A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
• Interest in building longer-term relationships with clients and the wider practice team
