The role is based in a Highland equine team serving leisure, competition and small yard clients. The rota is ambulatory equine rota with planned visits, seasonal work and supported on-call.

Practice profile

Key responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory equine consultations and routine procedures
• Support lameness, dentistry, vaccination and emergency cases within your skill set
• Build strong relationships with leisure and performance horse clients
• Maintain practical clinical records and clear follow-up plans

Requirements

• MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
• Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
• A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
• Interest in building longer-term relationships with clients and the wider practice team
