Contract: Permanent
Salary / Rate: £52,000 - £78,000 per annum
Rota: consult-heavy rota with protected admin time and limited sole charge

We are looking to speak with veterinary professionals interested in a consulting veterinary surgeon opportunity in London. The role is based in a busy community clinic linked to a wider London hospital network. The rota is consult-heavy rota with protected admin time and limited sole charge.

Practice profile

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver first-opinion consultations with clear communication for pet owners
  • Carry out routine surgery, dentistry or medical work in line with your confidence
  • Work closely with RVNs, SVNs and support staff to maintain safe patient flow
  • Keep accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements

  • MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
  • Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
  • A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
  • Interest in building longer-term relationships with clients and the wider practice team
