As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering personalised care to individuals with complex needs. This position involves working night shifts to ensure that clients receive continuous, high-quality support throughout the night.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing support with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and dressing.
- Monitoring and recording clients' health conditions, administering medications as prescribed, and reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Offering emotional and psychological support to clients, creating a comforting and supportive environment.
- Following individual care plans and ensuring that care is delivered according to the specific needs and preferences of each client.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and care standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care role.
- A genuine passion for providing care and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and patience.
- Punctual and dependable, with the ability to work effectively during night shifts.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to adapt to varying needs and respond to emergencies with composure.
