Sonographer - Adelaide

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonographer to join a leading medical imaging team providing high-quality diagnostic services across Adelaide. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment that values clinical excellence, patient care, and professional development.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility of working across a network of modern clinics in either the Central or Southern suburbs of Adelaide, with access to advanced imaging technology and a collaborative team of Radiologists and healthcare professionals. Occasional weekend shifts may apply, with additional sessions available based on your preferences and availability.

In This Role, You Will

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations with a strong focus on image quality, accuracy, and patient care
• Collaborate closely with Radiologists, clinicians, and technical staff to support timely and precise diagnoses
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate imaging records, reports, and billing documentation
• Contribute to a positive and professional team culture built on mutual respect and support

About You

• Demonstrated technical proficiency across a range of sonographic techniques
• Ability to operate and adapt to modern imaging systems and PACS/RIS environments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centred approach
• Strong attention to detail and clinical decision-making ability
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of ethics, safety, and quality care
• A proactive, collaborative mindset within a multi-disciplinary team

Key Requirements

• Current ASAR registration (Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry)
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (DMU, GradDip, or equivalent)
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
