Package

• £35.00 to £40.00 per hour via umbrella, negotiable depending on experience
• Fully remote working (UK or Ireland)
• Locum, ongoing long term
• 9:00am to 5:00pm

Overview

We are recruiting a Sexual Health Nurse for a fully remote role with an online sexual health service. The service works in partnership with the NHS and the HSE in Ireland, providing free STI test kits, information and advice 24 hours a day. As the service is based in Ireland, active NMBI registration is required. The role can be worked from home in either the UK or Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out safeguarding assessments and delivering high quality care
• Giving service users their results by text message and phone
• Supporting at risk groups and vulnerable service users
• Managing incident reporting through DATIX
• Giving clinical leadership and support to the wider team
• Managing your own caseload within a multidisciplinary team
• Contributing to policy reviews and service improvement

Requirements

• Active NMBI registration
• CoSRH Diploma (Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare)
• STIF certification
• Experience working in sexual health
• Strong knowledge of sexual and reproductive health
• Confidence using IT systems
