Overview

A new luxury private surgical hospital is opening in Cheshire, close to Knutsford and Altrincham, on 1 December 2026. The unit has one operating theatre running general anaesthetic lists, a recovery area and three inpatient beds, alongside an established aesthetics clinic.

Work is planned elective surgery, including cosmetic and plastic procedures, starting at around three cases a day and building to around 30 a week. Shifts are booked roughly a week in advance. We are building a small, consistent bank of staff so patients see familiar faces. Every candidate is screened by us, then has a short video call with the clinical manager before booking, and completes the clinic induction (video tour, policies and procedures) before their first shift.

Responsibilities

• Supporting registered nurses on the ward and in theatre
• Clinical observations, comfort and personal care before and after surgery
• Chaperoning, patient transfers and safe moving and handling
• Preparing theatre, stock and equipment and decontamination between cases
• Accurate record keeping

Requirements

• HCA or theatre support experience in a theatre or surgical ward setting
• Care Certificate or equivalent
• Competent with clinical observations
• Basic Life Support in date
• Enhanced DBS, right to work in the UK, two professional references, mandatory training and immunisations in date (or willing to complete with us)
