Residential Care Worker

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing personal care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where residents feel valued, respected, and empowered.
• Assisting residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and medication management.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote their well-being and independence.
• Monitoring residents' health and well-being, reporting any concerns or changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including daily logs and incident reports.
• Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills in residential care practices.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
• Previous experience working in a residential care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
