Job description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join the dynamic team in Blackbrook. The ideal candidate will have a passion for orthodontics, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Diagnosing and evaluating dental and jaw conditions using diagnostic tools such as X-rays and dental models.
  • Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans for patients, including the use of braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances.
  • Monitoring patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Educating patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining their orthodontic appliances.
  • Collaborating with other dental professionals, including general dentists and oral surgeons, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in orthodontic techniques and technology.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.


  • Relevant qualification.
  • Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
  • Valid state dental license and orthodontic certification.
  • Proven experience as an Orthodontist.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
