We are currently recruiting for an experienced Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join a busy community-based service in Newham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of clients with substance misuse needs
• Completing comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and recovery plans
• Delivering harm reduction advice and structured interventions
• Supporting clients with referrals to external agencies and support services
• Conducting regular keyworking sessions and maintaining accurate case notes
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a substance misuse/recovery setting
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
• Excellent communication and caseload management skills
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential
• Available to start at short notice preferred

This is a full-time position offering competitive hourly rates and the opportunity to work within a supportive and established service.
