A client practice in Cardiff is seeking a locum veterinary surgeon - south wales to support a well-established local caseload. The role is based in a Cardiff small animal practice looking for confident general practice cover. The rota is 3 to 5 days per week with no OOH and flexible start dates.

Practice profile

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first-opinion consultations with clear communication for pet owners
• Carry out routine surgery, dentistry or medical work in line with your confidence
• Work closely with RVNs, SVNs and support staff to maintain safe patient flow
• Keep accurate clinical records and contribute to a positive team culture

Requirements

• MRCVS registration or eligibility to register with the RCVS
• Confidence with first-opinion clinical work appropriate to the role
• A calm, professional approach with clients, colleagues and patients
• Availability for agreed locum dates and confidence working in a new practice environment
