In Office Day Counsellor Manchester| £28,000 – £33,000 per annum | Fully Office Based | 3+ days per week

We are currently recruiting  for an experienced In Office Day Counsellor based in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, supportive helpline-style environment, providing high-quality counselling to clients across a varied caseload.

Working as part of an in-office counselling team, you will be providing counselling to clients who contact the service via a helpline. The nature of sessions can vary, ranging from one-time callers seeking in-the-moment support through to clients engaged in short-term, structured work across a number of sessions. You will be supporting clients through a broad range of personal and work-related challenges including stress, anxiety, bereavement, and relationship difficulties. You will be comfortable managing a varied and fast-paced caseload, maintaining accurate case notes, and working within a clinical governance framework. This is a fully office-based role, so you will be part of a wider team of counsellors and wellbeing professionals, with a structured shift pattern across the working week.

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 150 counselling hours, including placement
• 12+ months post-qualification experience
• Confidence with IT systems and comfort working in a helpline-style setting
