Are you an experienced clinician or team leader looking to take the next step in your leadership journey? We’re recruiting a Deputy Service Manager to join a well-established service in Keele, Staffordshire, offering a hybrid working pattern and a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

About the Role

As Deputy Service Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the daily operations and clinical delivery of a service focused on autism assessments. You’ll supervise and support nursing staff, contribute to safeguarding efforts, and help maintain high standards in line with CQC regulations — all within a collaborative, forward-thinking team.

Key Role Details

  • Position: Deputy Service Manager
  • Location: Keele, Staffordshire
  • Salary: £50,000–£53,000 per year
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote
  • Hours: 9am–5pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct autism assessments as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide clinical supervision and leadership to nursing staff
  • Support safeguarding protocols and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Assist in maintaining quality and meeting CQC standards
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-focused service culture

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Clinically experienced in neurodevelopmental or autism services
  • Confident in team leadership and supervision
  • Familiar with CQC frameworks and safeguarding procedures
  • A proactive communicator and collaborative professional
  • Eligible to work in the UK
