Consultant Dermatologist - 3/4 Hour Sessions

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Dermatologist to deliver high-quality outpatient dermatology services across mixed patient cohorts. The successful candidate will manage both paediatric and adult patients, supporting urgent referral pathways and general dermatology care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide dermatology consultations in 3- or 4-hour clinical sessions.
• Assess and manage:
  • Under-18s and adult patients
  • 2-Week-Wait (2WW) suspected cancer referrals
  • MDT outcome follow-up patients
  • General dermatology conditions
  • Acne and systemic dermatology cases
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with governance standards.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and referral partners.

Essential Requirements

• GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Entry on the Specialist Register for Dermatology (or within 6 months).
• Experience managing paediatric and adult dermatology patients.
• Familiarity with 2WW pathways and MDT processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable

• Previous NHS or independent sector outpatient experience.
• Experience in acne/systemic therapies and paediatric dermatology
