Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Programme Development
- Design and deliver inclusive therapy frameworks, including individual counselling, group therapy, and psychological interventions.
- Align clinical services with organisational goals and contractual funding requirements.
- Ensure services are accessible to underrepresented communities including LGBTQ+ individuals, racially minoritised groups, and people with disabilities.
- Represent the organisation externally, influencing stakeholders and shaping mental health strategy.
Clinical & Operational Management
- Line manage senior clinical staff, providing day-to-day leadership and support.
- Oversee clinical governance, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and ethical standards.
- Conduct audits, manage risk, and ensure quality assurance across all services.
- Stay up to date with national standards and implement necessary improvements.
Supervision & Team Development
- Provide or coordinate clinical supervision for therapeutic leads and practitioners.
- Promote a culture of emotional safety, reflective practice, and continuous improvement.
- Identify learning needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative environment that supports practitioner wellbeing.
Monitoring, Reporting & Governance
- Lead the collection and analysis of impact data and client feedback.
- Generate reports for leadership teams, funders, and external partners.
- Ensure full compliance with data protection legislation, clinical regulations, and sector best practices.
