Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Programme Development

• Design and deliver inclusive therapy frameworks, including individual counselling, group therapy, and psychological interventions.
• Align clinical services with organisational goals and contractual funding requirements.
• Ensure services are accessible to underrepresented communities including LGBTQ+ individuals, racially minoritised groups, and people with disabilities.
• Represent the organisation externally, influencing stakeholders and shaping mental health strategy.

Clinical & Operational Management

• Line manage senior clinical staff, providing day-to-day leadership and support.
• Oversee clinical governance, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and ethical standards.
• Conduct audits, manage risk, and ensure quality assurance across all services.
• Stay up to date with national standards and implement necessary improvements.

Supervision & Team Development

• Provide or coordinate clinical supervision for therapeutic leads and practitioners.
• Promote a culture of emotional safety, reflective practice, and continuous improvement.
• Identify learning needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
• Foster a collaborative environment that supports practitioner wellbeing.

Monitoring, Reporting & Governance

• Lead the collection and analysis of impact data and client feedback.
• Generate reports for leadership teams, funders, and external partners.
• Ensure full compliance with data protection legislation, clinical regulations, and sector best practices.
