Year 1/2 Class Teacher

A friendly and supportive primary school in Banbury is looking for a Year 1/2 Class Teacher to join their team from Easter 2026. This role is open to an ECT or an experienced teacher. Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status to be considered.

Within this role, you will be responsible for assessing the progress of your class, planning engaging and creative lessons, and delivering high quality teaching in line with the Key Stage 1 national curriculum. The school is a two form entry primary setting, giving you the opportunity to share planning and marking with the other Year 1/2 teacher and work collaboratively within a supportive team.

For the successful candidate, there may also be opportunities to take on middle leadership or phase lead responsibilities if this is of interest.
