Maths GCSE tutor

We are currently seeking a GCSE Maths Tutor to support two students in the Southampton area. Each student requires one hour of tuition per week, delivered face to face. Sessions can take place at a local venue or the student’s home, depending on suitability and safeguarding arrangements.

• Deliver one to one GCSE Maths tuition tailored to each student’s learning needs
• Plan structured lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum
• Identify gaps in knowledge and adapt teaching methods accordingly
• Track progress and provide feedback to the client where required
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to safeguarding expectations

Requirements:

• Experience tutoring GCSE Maths
• Confident delivering in person sessions
• Strong subject knowledge and clear communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Reliable and able to commit to weekly sessions

Hours and Flexibility:

• Two students, one hour per week each
• Opportunity for additional hours as needs increase

Start Date:

• As soon as possible, subject to compliance checks
