KS2 Primary School Supply Teacher

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate KS2 Primary School Long-Term Supply Teacher to join the dynamic educational team for the upcoming Summer Term. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and support to Key Stage 2 students.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of Key Stage 2 students.
  • Implementing effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment conducive to academic growth and personal development.
  • Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and school leadership to contribute to the development and implementation of the school curriculum and educational initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavioural incidents in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Establishing effective communication channels with parents and guardians to foster positive partnerships and support students' academic and social-emotional well-being.
  • Adhering to safeguarding guidelines and promote the welfare and safety of all students at all times.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching KS2 students in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, assessment practises, and educational standard's.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
