Further to this, you will typically need to gain experience in the substance misuse field to develop an in-depth understanding on what substance misuse is and the effects that it has. The salary for a Substance Misuse Nurse can vary due to a number of different factors, such as location and experience. However, the average starting salary begins at around £30,000 with more senior and experienced Nurses having the opportunity to earn up to £40,000.
