Job description
The successful candidate will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to making a positive difference to the lives of autistic young people.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assessing and reviewing speech, language and communication needs.
- Using specialist knowledge to develop individualised support and adaptations to support individuals needs.
- Working in partnerships with other professionals.
- Providing advice and guidance to develop individuals access to employment opportunities.
Requirements:
- Speech and Language Therapist qualification
- HCPC registration
- Evidence of post-qualifying experience working as a SaLT.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of a varied range of treatment techniques.
- Excellent written and communication ability.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
