Job overview:
- Work collaboratively to deliver assessment and intervention plans for students with complex communication, associated learning and emotional needs.
- Implementing a therapeutic approach to helping students in their daily lives, making sure they maintain safe and healthy wellbeing.
- Adhering to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions.
- Working alongside the clinical team.
- Providing support and training to staff members and parents.
- Maintaining a nurturing and supportive environment which enables students to flourish.
- Ensuring safeguarding requirements are met at all times.
Requirements:
- Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
- Registration with HCPC.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting.
- Post-qualification experience working as an SLT.
- Up-to-date knowledge of SaLT assessments.
- Excellent communication skills.
