Job description
As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will be contributing your expertise to the assessment and treatment of individuals with neurological conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the quality of life for our clients. Your work will involve conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, offering evidence-based interventions, and providing consultation to colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting thorough neuropsychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning in individuals with neurological disorders.
- Interpreting assessment results and communicating findings to clients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
- Developing and implementing personalised treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Providing evidence-based interventions to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioural challenges associated with neurological conditions.
- Providing consultations to colleagues on complex cases and contributing to interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Contributing to the professional development of colleagues through training programs and supervision.
Requirements:
- Psychology Degree.
- Significant post-qualification experience in clinical neuropsychology.
- Expertise in conducting neuropsychological assessments.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
