Archer Resourcing have a unique opportunity for a knowledgeable and efficient Account Manager to join the team at our Ipswich location.

As an account manager your focus is to be the point of contact for all clients, to drive profitability within the organisation through customer and client relationships, and communicating effectively within the wider team helping to maximise business conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop relationships with clients and key account customers to identify and obtain new business opportunities to drive the business forward.
  • Monitoring existing clients, assessing data to determine profitability and longevity.
  • Communicate effectively with team leaders and consultants to ensure smooth transition of processes.
  • Proactively research and monitor industry trends to ensure the company stays competitive and relevant.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits and meet sales quotas.
  • Liaise with senior management on progress made on a regular basis.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Build and maintain reports and data surrounding new and current clients and industry trends to be shared with teams and management.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to identify and grow opportunity within individual teams and territories.
  • Keep all client records current and up to date, ensuring activity is recorded accurately on relevant systems.
  • Ensure all other administrative activity is accurately recorded and stored in the relevant system.
  • As necessary, visit Clients, attend meetings and trade shows and other industry events to capitalise on networking and relationship building opportunities, subject to agreement of dates etc.
  • Proactively remain connected to Clients and the ever-changing market to access new search opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in recruitment is essential.
  • Proven experience as an account manager is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills both oral, written and typed.
  • Strong adaptability, flexibility and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Self-motivated energy, be goal-focused and target driven.
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Be experienced in networking with clients.
