Overview
We are recruiting a Housing Support Worker to cover maternity leave for a supported housing service in Grimsby, working with vulnerable individuals with complex needs.
Responsibilities
- Keywork a caseload of supported-housing tenants
- Provide move-in/move-out support and tailored support plans
- Support income maximisation, benefits navigation and budgeting
- Advise on tenancy rights and responsibilities and rent management
- Conduct regular risk assessments and property/occupancy monitoring
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
Requirements
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals
- Knowledge of supported housing and tenancy-related support
- Understanding of the welfare benefits system
- Risk assessment and support planning experience
