Therapy for all

Working conditions and environment can have a huge impact on mental health, and, equally, someone’s mental health can significantly affect performing well in their job.

It’s estimated that 1 in 6 people experience mental health problems in the workplace with women being nearly twice as likely to have a common mental health problem as their male counterparts (19.8% vs 10.9%), however,15% of women receive treatment for depression, compared to only 9% of men. Evidence suggests that 12.7% of all sickness absence days in the UK can be attributed to mental health conditions.

It’s no secret that we wouldn’t be where we are today without our incredible work force, and the mental health and wellness of our staff is of paramount importance to us. We already prioritise the physical health of our staff, so when we decided to upgrade the wellness programme we offer internally, we wanted to add something that would provide everyone with the tools needed to be their best mentally, which is when we came across Plumm.

Plumm is a workplace mental well being solution with one simple mission: to make mental well being a reality for every member of the global workforce. They offer one-on-one video sessions and 24/7 chat therapy sessions with qualified psychologists, as well as therapist led courses, guided meditations, and live events.
