Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Promoting a housing options approach to service delivery by providing advice information and assistance.
- Preventing and resolving homelessness / housing issues by joint working with other departments and agencies.
- Inputting data and ensuring IT systems are kept up to date and accurate.
- Dealing with telephone enquiries from internal and external stakeholders and members of the public.
- Assisting in implementing changes to working methods in order to ensure continuous service improvements.
- Managing resources to ensure that service has sufficient resources to carry out its functions.
- Having an understanding and knowledge of the services available to support vulnerable adults, both statutory and voluntary.
Requirements:
- Awareness of and a commitment to Equality of Access and Opportunity in a diverse community.
- Experience of working with vulnerable customers.
- Experience of working within an outcome focused service.
- Knowledge of the support needs of vulnerable adults in housing need.
- Experience of dealing with and managing challenging behaviour.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
